Job summary

Bright Horizons Hove Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a flexible practitioner to join our Bright Flex/Bank team. You will support delivery of the EYFS through engaging activities and collaborate with a team to maintain high standards of care.

The role requires Level 3+ Early Years qualification, experience with children, and strong safeguarding awareness. We offer a competitive hourly rate starting from £13.50, a 40% childcare discount, enhanced parental leave, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Previous experience working with children – Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
• Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EYFS through engaging children in entertaining and educational activities.
• Support team with day-to-day tasks including room tidying and preparation.
