Conducting General and Principal inspections of Highway Structures following the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges
Recording and reporting inspections using Structures Management System in accordance with CSS Bridge Condition Index
Interpreting bridge structure defects in materials like steel and concrete
Reporting urgent and severe defects to ensure safety and performance
Documenting defects on-site and via online management systems
Coordinating between departments, managing traffic, access, and briefing sheets
Technical knowledge of bridge structures
Experience in Civil Engineering related to highway structures inspection and maintenance
Understanding of construction materials and methods
Knowledge of Health and Safety and CDM 2015 regulations
Experience managing and maintaining road network assets
Relevant discipline experience, preferably in structural or building work
Valid UK driving license
