Qualifications

• Experience in Civil Engineering related to highway structure inspection and maintenance.
• Valid UK driving license required.
• Experience managing and maintaining trunk or local road networks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct General and Principal inspections of Highway Structures.
• Interpreting bridge defects related to construction materials.
• Efficiently reporting urgent defects affecting capacity and performance.

7. Recording and reporting inspections using Structures Management System and CSS Bridge Condition Index
8. Interpreting bridge defects related to construction materials like steel and concrete
9. Efficient reporting of urgent defects affecting capacity and performance
10. On-site defect recording and reporting via online systems
11. Coordination between departments, traffic management, and task briefing
12. Technical knowledge of bridge structures
13. Experience in Civil Engineering related to highway structure inspection and maintenance
14. Understanding of construction materials and safety standards such as Health and Safety and CDM 2015
15. Experience managing and maintaining trunk or local road networks
16. Relevant discipline experience, preferably involving structural or building work
17. Valid UK driving license
