True Society is a collective of global bridal stores offering all brides the ultimate wedding dress shopping experience. With locations in Australia, the United States and Europe, we help brides celebrate their own personal style that represents their true self. True Society stores exclusively offer internationally sought-after designer brands Essense of Australia, Stella York, All Who Wander, Martina Liana and Martine Liana Luxe.

For the first time, we're bringing this one-of-a-kind bridal experience to Melbourne, Victoria. The new store exudes an elevated, urban chic vibe and provides a stunning stage for showcasing our breathtaking designer wedding dresses. True Society in Melbourne joins our growing collective of bridal stores and will be our second store in Australia. The new bridal store in Melbourne will be the destination for transforming dress dreams into the most amazing reality. We are looking for career-minded retail professionals (our True Crew!) who are passionate about fashion and bridal.

Casual and Part-Time positions available.

Responsibilities

Your Tasks

1. Provide an exceptional and consistent experience to all brides and their party members.
2. Work one on one with brides to create the perfect bridal style for their wedding day.
3. Build relationships with brides throughout the entire lifecycle of the experience.
4. Assist bridesmaids and other party members with their dress selection, sizing, and ordering.
5. Provide feedback about emerging bridal trends, accessories, and other add-on items or services.
6. Consistently achieve and maintain sales goals as set by management.
7. Assist with implementing new business ideas relating to customer experience, driving sales, new technology and merchandising.
8. Participate and assist with organising in-store events, bridal fairs, and promotions.
9. Maintain high level of store standards by maintaining a clean and well-organised store.
10. Represent the store and the designer labels we sell in a professional and consultative manner.

Qualifications

Your Profile

1. Bachelor's degree in Apparel, Fashion or related degree preferred; equivalent relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
2. Available to work weekends and evenings on a regular basis.
3. Minimum 1-2 years bridal sales or other consultative retail sales experience preferred.
4. Strong sales aptitude with the ability to prospect and close retail sales.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to build relationships with customers and solve problems quickly and efficiently.
7. Ability to quickly develop strong product knowledge of the bridal industry and trends.
8. Detail-oriented with a keen understanding of fashion and bridal fashion.
9. Ability to always maintain a fashion-forward and professional appearance.
10. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to self-manage working effectively to a deadline.
11. A team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask.
12. Ability to adapt to change in an ever-growing, fast-paced environment.
13. Physical ability to move throughout the store, lift and move up to 12 kgs, kneel, stand and work on feet most of the time.
