Brickwork Technician – Location: Birmingham | Hours: Full-time/Part-time | Contract Type: Temporary (Ongoing) | Pay Rate: £15-£18 per hour (Including Holiday Pay)

Overview

Are you a skilled Brickwork Technician with a passion for education and hands-on learning?

Reed FE are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced individual to join a dynamic College, supporting the delivery of brickwork and construction courses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist lecturers in practical sessions, supporting students with hands-on brickwork tasks.
  • Prepare and maintain workshop materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are upheld at all times.
  • Provide technical advice and guidance to students during practical work.
  • Support the setup and cleanup of practical areas before and after sessions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in brickwork or construction.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Bricklaying or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of health and safety in a workshop environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
