Job summary

Dovetail and Slate is seeking a Lecturer in Bricklaying & Multi-Skills to join a leading construction team at a further education college in the Cambridge area. This part-time post (29.6 hours per week) offers an opportunity to design and deliver practical and theoretical brickwork and multi-skills courses.

You will provide high-quality teaching, pastoral support, and contribute to curriculum development and assessments.

Qualifications

• Relevant hands-on industry experience within the construction sector.
• In-depth subject knowledge backed by at least a Level 3 Vocational Qualification in Bricklaying.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for developing the next generation of tradespeople.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality practical and theoretical instruction to a diverse range of learners
• Providing pastoral and tutorial support to help students achieve their goals
