Clarus Education is seeking a Lecturer in Bricklaying to join our Construction team in Cambridge. You will design and deliver bricklaying courses, teaching both practical and theoretical sessions, and assess in line with curriculum requirements.

The successful candidate will have industry experience in construction, strong bricklaying knowledge, and an ability to motivate learners with varying abilities. A Level 3 bricklaying qualification and excellent interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deliver Bricklaying courses for a wide range of learners.
• Teach both practical and theoretical sessions.
• Provide high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.
• Support learners to develop practical skills and subject knowledge.
• Provide tutorial support and guidance to students.
• Carry out administrative tasks including record keeping and assessment documentation.
• Contribute to development of the Construction department.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety in workshops.
• Promote positive behaviour and learner engagement.
• Participate in staff development and quality improvement activities.
