This team plays a crucial role in ensuring the ongoing maintenance and improvement of social housing across North Yorkshire.
About Our Housing Standards Maintenance Team:
The Housing Standards Maintenance team is responsible for ensuring that the Council’s social housing portfolio, comprising approximately 8,400 dwellings, is maintained to the highest standards. We work to ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and legislative requirements, providing safe and comfortable homes for tenants.
The Role:
As a Bricklayer (Maintenance Operative), your primary responsibility will be to carry out essential repairs and maintenance to the social housing stock, ensuring compliance with Decent Housing Standards and other regulatory frameworks.
This is a customer-focused, mobile role where you’ll carry out day-to-day repairs and maintenance in tenanted properties. You will use mobile technology to manage and receive your work orders.
