Job summary

Prestige Recruitment Specialists is seeking an experienced Bricklayer for a 12-week temporary-to-permanent role based in East Yorkshire. The position offers £17-£18 per hour, Monday to Friday, with a company van provided and door-to-door pay across local sites.

The successful candidate will lay bricks and blocks to standard, read plans, set out work, and travel between customer sites across the UK, with occasional assignments away from home.

Qualifications

• Previous professional bricklaying experience.
• High standard of workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of site health and safety.
• Willingness to travel and occasionally work away.
• Full UK driving licence.

Prestige Recruitment Specialists is recruiting an experienced Bricklayer to join a growing business based in East Yorkshire. This is a 12-week temporary-to-permanent position offering varied work across local construction and refurbishment projects, with occasional work away elsewhere in the UK.

The role

• Laying bricks and blocks to the required standard
• Constructing and repairing walls and other structures
• Setting out work and preparing mortar
• Ensuring work is level, aligned and completed accurately
• Completing pointing and finishing work
• Reading and working from plans where required
• Maintaining a safe and organised working area
