We are currently recruiting for a Tutor/Lecturer to join our Construction team. The successful candidate must have knowledge of Brickwork, both practical and theory. As a Brick Tutor, you would be delivering knowledge and practical skills to students in a workshop environment and theory in a classroom environment. With an enthusiastic and engaging approach, you will be responsible for teaching and assessment, supporting your students to achieve qualifications and skills that will prepare them for industry.
We are seeking applications from qualified tutors/lecturers as well as those not yet holding any relevant teaching qualifications, but who may have extensive industry experience. This may be the ideal opportunity for someone working in the industry, who would be looking for a change in career and who would want to pass on their knowledge to students. The role would be teaching across Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and other duties on Thursday and Fridays, but this can be discussed. .
Hours: Part-time, 24 hours per week
Tenure: Permanent
Annual Leave: 42 days, plus bank holidays and Christmas closure (Pro rata for part time)
