We are currently recruiting a Brick Cutting Operative to join our friendly team at our Linford Block Plant, located close to Stanford-le-Hope in Essex. This role involves a 24/4 shift pattern (Monday to Thursday).

The site is easily accessible from Tilbury, Gravesend, Rochester, Gillingham, Dartford, Purfleet on Thames, Grays, Wickford, Southend-on-Sea, Basildon, Brentwood, Billericay, and surrounding areas.

Our Linford Plant manufactures sustainable, tough, and energy-efficient aerated blocks used in homes and workplaces. You are never far from one of our products.

Main Responsibilities

• Meeting daily production targets
• Reporting data for quality purposes
• Moving, loading, and unloading products from the plant and vehicles
• Ensuring accurate loading and timely vehicle turnaround to meet customer service requirements
• Continuous improvement of performance standards
• Enhancing plant and production methods
• Maintaining good housekeeping

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have previous experience working in an industrial environment, such as a Fork Lift Truck Operative, Multi-Skilled Operative, or Labourer. However, teamwork, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn are more important, as full training will be provided.
