Job summary

Hall & Woodhouse Limited in Blandford Forum is seeking a Water Purification Plant Operator to join our Brewery Engineering team. You will operate and monitor the purification plant, ensuring safety, quality and compliance while supporting recycling initiatives and on-site maintenance.

You will work with Engineers to maintain plant performance, conduct laboratory water tests and help drive continuous improvements in a fast-paced brewery setting.

Qualifications

• WAMITAB qualification (or working towards)
• Relevant waste management experience
• Forklift Truck License

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company standards and compliance obligations (GMP, BRC, HACCP, PUWER, DSEAR, EA Permits).
• Operate and monitor the Water Purification Plant within correct parameters.
• Coordinate with Engineers to ensure plant maintenance tasks are on schedule.
• Act as site Technical Competent Manager (TCM) for the Water Purification Plant.
• Laboratory testing of water quality.
• Communicate with internal teams, customers and suppliers to support day-to-day operations.
• Maintain records, monitor KPIs and report plant performance.
• Support the recycling operation.
• Handle on-call emergency responses.
