Job summary

The East of Scotland Breast Screening Service and NHS Tayside Breast Imaging Service seek a Consultant Radiologist to support both screening and symptomatic patients at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. You will participate in new patient clinics, screening assessments, MDT discussions and diagnostic procedures.

Applicants must be on GMC specialist register or eligible, with a licence to practise. The post requires strong organisational and communication skills and a commitment to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be on GMC specialist register, or eligible for entry at interview in the indicated timeframe.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• Well organised with high attention to detail and sound decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality screening and symptomatic radiology services at clinics and MDT discussions.
• Undertake diagnostic procedures and participate in screening assessment clinics.
• Collaborate with Consultant Radiologists, Radiographers and Advanced Practice Radiographers in a multidisciplinary team.
