A leading healthcare provider in Exeter seeks a Band 6 Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist. This role involves acting as a key advocate for breast cancer patients, providing vital support and information. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in breast cancer care and excellent communication skills. Flexible working hours are considered. Role Summary
The aim of the role is to act as a key worker and advocate for patients diagnosed with breast cancer, from the point of diagnosis throughout their pathway, providing support and information, as well as participating in service development. This nursing role requires close collaboration with all members of the breast care nursing team, the wider Multidisciplinary team, and the oncology service. Successful candidates will be experienced nurses, ideally with breast cancer, SACT/oncology, or palliative care knowledge and experience.

Band 6 Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated, compassionate nurse to work within the breast care nursing team alongside the Primary and Metastatic breast cancer clinical nurse specialists.
The individual should work flexibly, possess excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, and be willing to advance their practice while considering the needs of the team. Support for new ways of working, including nurse-led clinics, is expected.
Working hours: Monday to Friday; flexible hours will be considered.
