Job summary

The Retreat, Elcot Park in West Berkshire, is seeking a Breakfast Supervisor to lead the F&B team with warmth and efficiency. You’ll create memorable breakfast experiences, coordinate front-of-house with the kitchen, and inspire the team to deliver superb guest service from first coffee to the last bite.

We are looking for a highly energeticBreakfast Supervisorto join our Food & Beverage team at The Retreat, Elcot Park located in West Berkshire.

The Retreat at Elcot Park is a beautifully refurbished country house hotel with 55 stylish rooms, buzzing restaurants, a luxe spa and guests who love great food and great service.We can offer free parking on-site to our teams, as well as a generous Tronc of about £3,000 per year, paid monthly with your normal pay, (if you work full time, pro rata amount for part-time) from your first day at work!

You will:

• Be an early bird, creating breakfast experiences worth lingering over, helping guests begin their day with a smile, a great cup of coffee and a sense that they're exactly where they should be.
• Conduct the gentle morning symphony between front of house and kitchen, ensuring every plate arrives just as it should.
• Float through the restaurant with an eye for detail and a talent for making guests feel genuinely at home.
• Encourage, coach and celebrate your team, helping everyone shine in their role.
• Stay delightfully curious about our menus, from seasonal specials to guest favourites.
• Embrace opportunities to learn and grow, continually adding new strings to your bow.
• Rally the team before each service with inspiring briefings that set the scene for a successful shift.
