Job summary

Whitbread’s Newport Premier Inn is hiring a Breakfast Kitchen Team Member to help prepare and serve breakfast for guests. This 20-hour-per-week role offers a permanent contract and the chance to work as part of a supportive hotel team in Stafford Road, Newport.

You’ll handle ingredients, cook breakfast items, keep the kitchen clean and stock ordered deliveries. No hotel experience is required; we’ll train you and help you grow within Premier Inn.

Qualifications

• No hotel experience required.
• Reliable, able to work in a busy kitchen.
• Willingness to learn and follow food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before service starts.
• Cook and plate meals during breakfast service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised and ready for the next rush.
• Receive deliveries and manage stock.
• Work closely with the hotel team to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure meals leave the kitchen looking presentable.
