• Plan an engaging, creative environment for all children at the club
• Work alongside colleagues in the day-to-day running of the club
• Carry out administration, keeping an accurate register and the correct number of pupils present
• Observe children, understand their needs and interests by age group, and lead activities as the Senior Play Worker directs
• Ensure pupils arrive punctually at their classroom and are handed safely to parents or named carers
• Treat children fairly and sensitively and respect confidentiality
• Provide a high-quality environment suited to differing cultures, religions and stages of development
• Encourage parental involvement and support for the club
