We re recruiting on behalf of our clients at their beautifully refurbished, family-owned boutique inn, located just outside North Walsham, near the stunning Norfolk Broads. Surrounded by 9 acres of tranquil countryside, the property features 8 elegant bedrooms, two characterful cottages, and a relaunched restaurant and bar offering a blend of traditional and contemporary English cuisine.

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Breakfast Chef to join their kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef who enjoys working independently and takes pride in delivering a high-quality breakfast experience. You ll be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of breakfast dishes, ensuring guests start their day with an exceptional meal.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook breakfast to order for hotel guests and occasional walk-ins
• Set up and manage the breakfast section efficiently each morning
• Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and portion control
• Maintain a clean, organised kitchen and follow food safety standards
• Assist with stock control and prep for the following day when needed
• Communicate effectively with front-of-house and kitchen team members

About You

• Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar kitchen role
• Confident working independently in a morning kitchen setting
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• A passion for fresh ingredients and well-executed breakfast dishes
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures
• Positive, professional attitude with a focus on guest satisfaction
