Job summary

RBH Hospitality Management is seeking a Breakfast Chef for our London hotel. This role involves morning shifts, supporting senior chefs, and helping with all prep, cooking, and plating tasks to ensure a smooth service flow.

You’ll maintain high hygiene standards, assist with stock management, and grow your skills in a fast-paced, people-first kitchen environment in the capital.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in cooking and a willingness to learn in a professional kitchen.
• Some kitchen experience is a plus, but a can-do attitude is essential.
• Understanding of basic food prep techniques and food safety.
• Strong attention to detail, especially cleanliness and hygiene.
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing ingredients for dishes, from chopping to marinating.
• Work morning shifts with early starts in a busy kitchen.
• Collaborate with senior chefs across sections to refine techniques.
• Maintain a clean, organised workstation and follow hygiene standards.
• Help with stock by preparing ingredients and flagging low supplies.
• Perform basic cooking tasks including sauces, grilling, frying and plating.
• Participate in regular cleaning duties to keep equipment spotless.
• Learn and adapt quickly to kitchen procedures within the team.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BREAKFAST CHEF AT OUR HOTEL

What you'll be doing...

• Assist in preparing ingredients for various dishes, from chopping and slicing to marinating and portioning, to ensure each station runs smoothly.
• Working morning shifts , so you need to be available for early starts!
• Work alongside senior chefs in all sections, gaining hands-on experience and refining essential cooking techniques.
• Maintain a clean, organised workstation, following hygiene and food safety standards rigorously.
• Help with kitchen inventory by preparing ingredients, monitoring stock levels, and informing chefs when supplies are low.
• Take on basic cooking tasks, including making sauces, grilling, frying, and assisting with plating.
• Participate in regular cleaning duties to ensure all equipment and surfaces are kept spotless.
• Quickly learn and adapt to kitchen procedures, contributing effectively to a well-organised team.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
