Job summary

THE PIG-near Bath is seeking a Breakfast Chef to run the morning service at Bath, BS39 4NS. The role offers 40 hours per week with fixed shifts and no late evenings, plus paid overtime opportunities. Salary is up to £14.00 per hour, with an OTE of £16.42 per hour including tronc.

You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking the breakfast menu, while ensuring high standards for both made-to-order items and breakfasts buffet. Full training and development support are provided.

• Ability to run the breakfast service and prep for the following day.

About the role

Location: THE PIG-near Bath, Bath, BS39 4NS

Salary: Up to £14.00 per hour (OTE £16.42 per hour, including tronc)

Hours: 40 hours per week over 5 days, including any paid overtime.

With no late-nights or evenings, plus fixed shift times to allow you to balance work and home, this could be the best job in the kitchen.

To be our Breakfast Chef you will need to be committed to the role and highly organised. You will often work alone, so will need to be confident to manage a busy breakfast service. There's no need to have been to catering college or have a high level of qualifications. However, basic skills to confidently prepare and cook the breakfast menu is essential.

As our Breakfast Chef you will be running the breakfast service, ensuring all standards are maintained for both the made to order menu and breakfast buffet. You will be responsible for the prep of all breakfast items for the following day, plus general support to the kitchen for the day ahead, including providing staff lunch.
