Beam Canary Wharf is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of our busy restaurant, delivering exceptional service from breakfast through to dinner in a high-volume environment.

You will lead by example, motivate the team, manage front-of-house operations, maintain standards of service and safety, and ensure guest satisfaction. This full-time role offers career progression, staff meals on duty, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor in a busy restaurant.
• Proven experience managing high-volume breakfast service.
• Hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service.
• Flexibility to work full-time, including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage our fast-paced breakfast and brunch service, ensuring smooth operations and excellent guest satisfaction.
• Support the General Manager with the daily running of the restaurant.
• Supervise, train, and develop the front-of-house team.
• Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues efficiently.
• Assist with staff scheduling, stock control, and opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and licensing regulations.
