Job summary

Scania Group in Glasgow is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our breakdown team. You will respond to roadside call-outs and perform rapid, safe repairs on heavy vehicles, using the latest diagnostic equipment and a strong customer-service mindset.

HGV Mobile Technician – Glasgow

07:00 - 15:30, Week 2: Lates: 15:30 - 00:00

Dayshift will cover call outs from 03:30 -15:30, Backshift will cover call outs from 15:30 - 03:30

Salary: Competitive salary, plus additional standby pay

Training provided - if you are a qualified technician, we can provide the breakdown training.

What you'll be doing

• Responding to roadside breakdowns and carrying out fast, safe, and effective repairs
• Diagnosing faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
• Completing servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on HGVs
• Delivering a high standard of customer service while working independently
• Ensuring all work is completed with safety front of mind
