Our client, Yamazaki Mazak, is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a market-leading Machine Tool manufacturer with a longstanding industry presence. Due to increased demand, our client now seeks a Machine Tool Breakdown and Maintenance Engineer based in the Peterborough area (within 30 miles). 365 Resourcing is the supplier to Mazak.

The Role

The purpose of the Machine Tool Breakdown and Maintenance Engineer role is to:

1. Service and repair CNC Machines.
2. Work to schedules to meet customer demands.
3. Provide customers with a first-class service.
4. Ensure all activities comply with Health and Safety guidelines.

The Candidate

Required experience and qualifications:

• Knowledge of CNC machine tools and servicing/repairing them.
• Mechanical bias with the ability to handle electrical tasks as required.
• Ability to diagnose CNC faults using PLC.
• Knowledge of servo systems (Mitsubishi and Siemens advantageous).
• Highly motivated, proactive, and innovative to improve processes.
• Clear communication skills at all levels of the customer organization.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Flexible approach to a varied workload.

• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with additional overtime and weekends as required.
