Job summary

Time Recruitment Solutions Limited is seeking a qualified Housing Disrepair Solicitor in Liverpool to manage a varied caseload of breach of contract claims from instruction through to resolution. The role offers hybrid working, a salary around £45,000+ DOE, and a supportive environment with progression opportunities.

You will handle pre and post-litigated matters, draft court documents, review reports, negotiate settlements, and liaise with Counsel while delivering excellent client care.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with strong litigation and case management experience.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Experience in Housing Disrepair/Breach of Contract is desirable but not essential.
• Experience using a case management system.

Responsibilities

The Role

You’ll manage a varied caseload of pre and post-litigated breach of agreement claims on behalf of tenants, handling cases from instruction through to resolution.

Key duties include:

• Managing your own caseload of breach of agreement matters
• Drafting applications, proceedings and court documents
• Reviewing surveyors' reports and evidence
• Negotiating settlements and pursuing claims where necessary
• Liaising with Counsel and preparing court bundles
• Handling access and decant issues
