Our neighbourhood restaurant located in Fulham over looking the Thames. The restaurant has been inspired by pioneering Ceramicist and floral designer Constance Spry. Constance brings riverside dining inspired by the skill and craft of artists, served with care and pride.

100 cover modern British brasserie, serving lunch and dinner.

The Assistant Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the front of house operations during service, ensuring that guests have an exceptional dining experience.This role focuses on managing the floor team, coordinating service, and maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction.The Floor Manager will work closely with the Brasserie Constance Restaurant Manager to ensure that all service standards are met and that the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee the front-of-house operations during service, ensuring that all guests are welcomed, seated, and served efficiently.
  • Coordinate the activities of the floor team, including waitstaff, hosts, and bartenders, ensuring that service is seamless and that all areas are running efficiently.
  • Monitor the dining area, ensuring cleanliness, proper setup, and a welcoming environment.
  • Respond to guest complaints and special requests, ensuring that issues are resolved quickly and to the guest's satisfaction.
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager with staff scheduling, ensuring that the restaurant is adequately staffed during peak times.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that orders are delivered in a timely manner and to the highest standard.
  • Train and mentor junior floor staff, ensuring that they are equipped with the skills to deliver excellent service.
  • Conduct regular team briefings to communicate service goals, special instructions, and ensure that all staff are aligned with the day’s objectives.
  • Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service, maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Lead the floor team to ensure that service is smooth, efficient, and meets the standards set by the restaurant.
  • Ensure that all areas of the dining room are properly maintained and set up, providing a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Resolve guest complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring a positive experience for all diners.
  • Contribute to the profitability of the restaurant by assisting with efficient labour scheduling and cost control.

What you bring:

  • Experience in managing front-of-house operations, ideally within a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience training and motivating staff.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling the pressure of busy service times with calm professionalism.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards in a restaurant setting.
  • Flexibility to work during peak periods, including weekends, evenings, and matchdays, as required by the business.
