Job description

Phase Eight is entering an exciting new chapter, and we’re looking for a Brand Stylist to shape how our collections are styled and brought to life. You’ll create a distinctive styling handwriting across campaign, e-commerce, social, email and retail, balancing creativity with commercial impact.

This role is based 4 days in-person (Euston and Haggerston) and 1 day working from home.

What you’ll do

As Brand Styling Manager, you'll deliver a consistent and elevated style handwriting across Phase Eight’s 360 touchpoints as we make a strategic shift to appeal to more women, in more moments. You will act as our product curator, translating the Brand and Design vision into customer-facing styling.

You'll act as a lynchpin between the Brand Marketing, Buying & Design, Creative Studio, Ecomm and Email teams as we share our collections with customers across key touchpoints such as campaign, ecomm, windows and content including Social. You'll balance commerciality with creativity, leading and rolling out a consistent styling handwriting that’s true to the Phase Eight design vision, changing style perceptions whilst supporting trading performance.

You will have a strong understanding of fashion trends, customer behaviour and commercial styling, with the ability to translate seasonal stories into engaging product edits and content across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead e-commerce styling: Own styling direction for product photography, from seasonal outfit planning and product selection to on-set execution, ensuring consistency, quality and commercially effective outfitting.
  • Deliver campaign styling: Lead selected campaign shoots, support external stylists where needed and translate campaign looks across digital and retail channels, including behind-the-scenes content.
  • Curate always-on content: Build inspiring, commercially focused product edits and outfits for the website, email, social, editorial, seasonal campaigns, press and customer events.
  • Shape seasonal styling and trends: Research fashion, competitor and customer trends to develop styling direction that strengthens brand positioning and aligns to seasonal and trading priorities.
  • Collaborate across teams: Partner with Brand Marketing, Buying, Design, Studio, E-commerce, CRM, Social, Content and VM teams to deliver consistent styling across every customer touchpoint.
  • Manage product and shoot preparation: Coordinate product samples, outfit recommendations and styling briefs, ensuring products are available, aligned with trading priorities and delivered to shoot schedules.
  • Champion the Phase Eight styling identity: Create styling guidelines, share inspiration and best practice, assist internal workshops and help teams and external partners bring the brand’s styling vision to life.

Who you’ll be

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in fashion, e-commerce and/or brand styling, including model photography and campaign shoots.
  • A strong understanding of fashion trends, outfit building, colour, proportion and silhouette.
  • The ability to balance creative vision with commercial objectives, customer behaviour and digital trading priorities.
  • Strong collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organisation and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of visual merchandising, retail presentation and the customer journey.
