Brand Marketing Assistant Job Description

Sigma is looking for a Brand Marketing Assistant to join the marketing team. Previous experience in a marketing role or a marketing degree is not necessary. The successful candidate will have a passion to pursue a career in marketing, and has a particular interest in the property market. It is vital that this person is extremely organised and has attention to detail. A full driving license and access to a car is preferred for this role.

The role is perfect for someone looking for their first step into marketing. Whilst there will be a lot of admin and keeping information up to date to support the rest of the marketing team, the role will be varied, offering you the opportunity to get involved in a broad span of marketing initiatives and channels, particularly as the individual develops within the company.

This person will act as a support for the brand marketing team. Responsibilities will include:

Assisting Brand Marketing Team with:

oHeavily involved in (and hopefully in time, lead on) social media channels (SL and SLL: Facebook, Instagram, TT) from content planning and scheduling posts in line with our social strategy, support on asset creation and in time support on reporting

oAssisting on resident competitions

oManage social inboxes and in time become a support in review platforms

oOrdering and issuing refer a friend and survey vouchers

oSimple Life/Simple Life London website blog updates and other website content updates

oSupport on event organisation and execution

oKeeping stock up to date and managing orders for of home move bags, welcome brochures, inventory for accounts etc

oGeneral app and web updates and checks

oWhere required assisting on app content updates and some development projects

oProvide ad hoc support on branded content projects, including paid media assets, brand podcast production, printed materials, and customer testimonials

What we can offer you:

·Competitive salary – for this role we’re offering £25k

·Annual bonus – bonuses are discretionary and decided by the Sigma Board of Directors.

·Access to the Company’s managed workplace pension scheme where the Company will contribute 5% of basic salary (provided that you contribute the balance to achieve the statutory minimum, currently 9%)

·The company will pay for any business miles incurred.

·Opportunity to join favourable electric car scheme partly funded by salary sacrifice.

·The role will be Manchester (Deansgate) based currently working minimum 3 days in the office with 2 days available for remote working

·25 days holiday per annum (3 days to be set aside for Christmas close down).
