The Brand Liaison Coordinator reports to the Centre Director. The role involves engaging with retail partners and the wider shopping centre team and providing a valuable contribution to the monthly client report. To be flexible in your working patterns and work on a rotational basis alongside the Management Team (inclusive of duty management duties).
To ensure all staff understand our goal of a creating a happy, contented fully synchronised team, striving to create as near as possible the perfect customer experience whilst in our shopping centre.
Key Responsibilities & Roles:
Tenant Liaison:
- Establish excellent relationships with all Bridges tenants, acting as a first point of contact for any occupier queries.
- Collate good quality turnover information and trading commentary from tenants to use in the Savills client monthly report, also entering all data onto data+.
- Assist the Centre Director in compiling the monthly client report.
- Coordinate communication to tenants using Mallcomm including centre initiatives, city news, marketing campaigns and operational matters.
- Monitor tenant opening and closing times to drive cohesion.
- Participate in tenant meetings presenting on relevant maters.
- Welcome new tenants to The Bridges, providing a tenant handbook and retail partner pack.
- Assist with the annual Retailer Satisfaction Survey, driving for 100% participation.
- Attend retailer category meetings and feedback on sector performance.
Mall Space Bookings:
- Assist the Centre Director with tenant, community and stakeholder requests for free temporary space.
- Facilitate free community promotions within the centre ensuring all paperwork is completed.
- Collate and seek approval on RAMS and insurance docs for temporary occupiers. Monitor mall trader lease dates, providing 3 months’ notice for lease renewal negotiations.
- Liaise with occupiers to deal with day-to-day queries.
- Monitor temporary trader opening and closing times and kiosk standards.
- Assist the Centre Director with commercialisation bookings through agents, Flourish.
- Assist the Centre Director in monitoring monthly income against target, filling in monthly reports if required.
General Duties:
- Liaise with tenants to promote regular use of the glass display pods.
- Liaise with tenants and stakeholders regarding the centre’s parking permit scheme.
- Monitor use of centre initiatives including Shop Ability, Sunderland Gift Card and Sensory Bags.
- Facilitate viewings of vacant units promoting the centre to prospective tenants.
- Report on competitor activity providing the Centre Director with information on store launches and marketing initiatives at schemes including Dalton Park, The Galleries and Eldon Square.
- Support the Marketing Manager with reasonable requests around event management and planning, data collection, sourcing social media content, driving tenant participation, market research and mystery shop.
- Monitor centre footfall and share insights.
- Monitor car park use and share insights.
- Assist the Centre Director with administering void units, working to mitigate business rates and make void unit look presentable
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
- Excellent understanding of the commercial needs of a business.
- Ability to operate with confidentiality and integrity.
- Excellent communicator.
- Self-motivated.
- Good levels of organisation.
- Excellent numerical skills.
- Good IT skills with the ability to use Power Point and Excel
