Job description

VANRATH is delighted to partner again with a Major Distribution Service in recruiting a Soft Drinks Sales Executive to join a growing and dynamic team based in Belfast. This company values staff development and progression.

Experience working with Drink Brands/Food Service Providers is highly desirable

Salary - £28,000 + Company Car & Fuel Card + 10% Bonus + Hybrid Working

Hours - Mon-Fri, 09:00-17:00 - 3 days on the road / 2 days remote

Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer portfolio, including existing and new business, to meet sales, shopper, and brand objectives within set parameters.
  • Implement national plans locally, ensuring distribution and activation align with brand goals and support TGM targets.
  • Develop collaborative customer partnerships, translating sales and brand objectives into relevant business plans, ranging, and activation strategies, considering customer needs and business cycles.
  • Coordinate with Brand and NPD teams to stay informed about customer points of sale and menu cycles.
  • Work with commercial planning and activation teams to ensure all activities align with company and brand expectations, managing budgets and forecasts via CBP systems.
  • Provide required information for internal and external stakeholders within deadlines, including management, sales, finance, and marketing teams.
  • Use insights to maximize brand distribution, visibility, and availability by setting targets, conducting gap analysis, and matching customer needs with brand features.
  • Monitor competitor activity and relay insights to inform channel and brand strategies.
  • Maintain control over financial management, including limiting debtor days, resolving credit issues, and ensuring invoices are settled within 35 days.
