Brand Design Planner

Working with a global automotive company, an opportunity has arisen for a Brand Design Planner (producer) who will be responsible for the upfront coordination and handling of requests into the brand design team.

The purpose of the role: To turn requests into robust project plans, resourced appropriately and structured with deliverables and reviews against timing plans, setting projects up for success before handing off to programme management.

Key responsibilities:
  • Responsible for setting up how multi-disciplinary projects are operationalised, creating the framework and blueprint for delivery.
  • Follow projects through from kickoff to conclusion and ensure successful delivery.
  • Act proactively to anticipate issues and manage risk.
  • Perform insightful planning that marries resource, deliverables, and timing.
  • Support operational management of the design hub to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Liaise and coordinate with programme management and business operations teams to ensure appropriate team capacity to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Support and inform capacity planning.
Essential Skills Required:
  • Knowledge of design processes through to delivery.
  • Experience in strategically planning multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Ability to translate plans and strategies into action to support project execution.
  • Proven track record as a producer delivering within agency and corporate settings.
  • Creatively sensitive with an understanding of complex multi-disciplinary design projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to present complex information to all levels within the business.
  • Comfortable managing projects across different cultures, geographies, and time zones.
  • Experience with Wrike, Workfront, and MS Project.
