Job description

Butternut Box's mission is to deliver health and happiness to dogs all over the world with our fresh dog food and extras, delivered directly to customers' doors on a subscription model. To achieve our growth targets, we are looking for passionate, driven, and fun Brand Ambassadors to join our high-performing sales teams. You will represent us at events, trade shows, and exhibitions across the country, engaging with dog owners and promoting the benefits of feeding fresh. If you love dogs, sales, and flexible work, this could be the ideal role for you. Please note that this role is commission-based only.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Driving face-to-face sales: Engage with potential customers at top-tier events in London and surrounding areas, promoting Butternut Box ethically and inspirationally. Shows include Crufts, Dogfest, Ideal Home Show, etc. (we attend over 900 events a year!)
  2. Educating dog parents: Inform and educate our customer base about the benefits of Butternut Box, emphasizing our commitment to high-quality, natural, fresh food.
  3. Building relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering trust and loyalty.
  4. Achieving sales targets: Be target-driven, striving to exceed individual and team sales goals.
A bit about you:
  1. Dog lover: A genuine affection for dogs and understanding of their needs is essential.
  2. Sales enthusiast: A passion for sales and a knack for connecting with people (and their dogs) is very important.
  3. Customer focus: Dedication to providing excellent service to customers and their dogs.
  4. Target-oriented: The more dogs you help, the more you earn.
  5. Availability on weekends: Most high-impact events occur on weekends, so good availability from Friday to Sunday is required.
  6. Age requirement: Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
What we offer:
  1. Uncapped commission: Unlimited earning potential based on sales performance, with regular incentives like gift cards, dinner vouchers, and getaways. On target earnings are between £200-£250 per day, potentially up to £500 for top performers.

We’ve grown from hand-delivering the first Butternut Box to feeding many dogs across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium.
