Job Description:

Business Development & Marketing Manager required for established Branding & Design Agency based in London N1.

The Role

We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious Business Development & Marketing Manager to be a key member of our team.Reporting to our MD, the successful candidate will take responsibility for identifying new business opportunities, securing meetings through cold-calling and warm lead follow up, pipeline management, identifying and managing the response to public tenders, helping win new clients and delivering our own marketing through face-to-face, events and social media marketing.

Key responsibilities include:

·Regular outbound new business phone calls and e-mails, including cold calling and regular eNewsletters.

·Researching and identifying new business opportunities in defined sectors

·Populating and updating our new business contact management system (Pipedrive).

·Following up warm contacts (and old contacts) to maintain the Agency’s presence.

·Identifying public tenders and creating/managing our responses.

·Meeting prospective clients with other members of staff.

·Supporting the wider team on new business pitches and tenders.

·Attending industry conferences and networking events, in particular maintaining and enhancing our presence in the Higher Education sector and building it other defined sectors.

·Managing the agencies marketing plan and content marketing.

·Using LinkedIn as a key profile builder and targeting resource.

·Producing monthly new business activity reports.

The Person

We are looking for someone with the perfect combination of skills and personality.They will be a great communicator, be persistent and persuasive, good at listening to prospective client needs and tailoring our offering accordingly and have top class written communication skills. They must be as happy creating and executing an outbound cold email and telephone campaign, as writing a bunch of social or meeting people at a trade event.

Key skills include

·Good understanding of design, branding, digital and social media marketing and related disciplines.

·Highly commercial and sales focused.

·Very organised and comfortable under pressure.

·Strong verbal and written communications skills.

·Broad consumer and business interest and awareness.

·Comfortable working in a small and energetic team.

Experience

·Minimum of 2-3 years business development & marketing experience within a marketing agency

·Successfully met new business revenue targets

·Lead generation targetting medium to large organisations and public sector

You will work very closely with the Agency Owners and Senior Managers to

identify and secure new business meetings and opportunities.We will provide training in our offering and additional training tailored to the needs of marketing agencies if required.

The Rewards

We offer a good salary plus performance-related related bonus, 24 days holidays a year including a Christmas shutdown, rising to 28 days after 4 years service, various other benefits and a pleasant working environment.We currently work a hybrid pattern, with everyone in our London office on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with Tuesdays and Thursday generally work at home days, although this can change based on business needs.

We would consider a candidate working part-time, a minimum of 3 days a week.
