Descripción del empleo

As our Senior Manager - Brand Activation, you'll lead the development and delivery of brand activation across Nationwide's branch network, ensuring branches are recognised as a critical brand, customer and commercial channel.

You'll translate brand strategy into meaningful experiences, local activations and community engagement programmes that bring Nationwide to life on the high street. Working closely with Retail, Property, Customer Experience and Brand teams, you'll shape how Nationwide shows up in branches today while helping define the future branch experience.

Alongside branch activation, you'll lead employer brand activation, helping bring Nationwide's purpose, culture and colleague experience to life through authentic storytelling, colleague advocacy and engagement programmes. You'll identify opportunities to connect colleague stories and expertise with wider campaigns, creating more reasons for people to engage with and talk about Nationwide.

You'll play a key role in branch transformation activity, ensuring brand, marketing and customer experience thinking help shape future branch formats, propositions and capabilities. You'll also identify opportunities to strengthen Nationwide's presence in local communities through partnerships, experiences and localised marketing activity.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery. You'll oversee activation planning, local marketing, community engagement, agency management, budget ownership and performance measurement, ensuring Nationwide delivers impactful and distinctive activity across its branch network and beyond.

We’re looking for someone with a strong creative instinct and a clear understanding of how to bring a brand to life beyond traditional marketing channels. Someone who can spot opportunities, connect ideas across teams and turn colleague experiences, community connections and brand strategy into engaging real-world experiences and communications.

You’ll be comfortable working across functions, building relationships and taking ideas from development through to delivery. You’ll bring fresh thinking, sound judgement and the ability to balance creative ambition with practical execution.

We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your best.

At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.

For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our Swindon or London office. If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works. You can also find out more about our approach to hybrid working here .

Nationwide is committed to the redeployment of our employees impacted by change, as such applications for redeployment candidates will be prioritised in this recruitment process.

If you’re a colleague on long-term absence (for example, on parental leave) or a temporary worker, please use your personal email address to submit an application.
