Job summary

JDP is hiring a Branch/Yard Assistant for the Broxburn branch, with relocation to Uphall planned soon. You will be involved in all aspects of branch operations, from serving customers and managing stock to supporting warehouse and yard activities.

The role offers hands-on work, a busy team environment and the chance to contribute to high standards of service while ensuring safety and efficiency across daily operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and some customer service skills.
• Literacy & Numeracy.
• An understanding of Health & Safety in a work environment.
• Forklift truck licence.

Responsibilities

• Providing customers with product and service information
• Pick customer orders accurately
• Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles using a forklift truck
• Process orders accurately, within a time dictated by the customer deadline
• Serve customers on the trade counter when required
• Customer interaction
• Delivery of goods using the company pick up when required

We are looking for a Branch/Yard Assistant to join our team at Broxburn. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing business at a pivotal time, as our Broxburn branch is scheduled to relocate to Uphall in the near future.
