Securitas UK is hiring a Branch Support Security Officer in Lincoln. You will protect people, property and information across multiple client sites within a defined area. The role involves days, nights and weekend shifts with travel between Lincoln and Humberside.

The position requires a valid SIA licence, a driving licence with access to your own vehicle, and flexibility to travel. Excellent English communication is essential and there is a comprehensive benefits package.

• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Protect people, property and information across client sites.
• Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate.
• Conduct external and internal security patrols; control traffic and parking as required.
• Test security equipment; manage keys and locking/unlocking duties.
• Maintain logs and records; issue passes per Instructions.
• Report hazards, accidents and faults following procedures.

Pay: £14.00per hour + Travel expenses paid.
Hours: 42 hours per week, working days, nights and weekends

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

Protection of Property and Premises

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate.
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment Instructions. Provide traffic control and apply parking restrictions as required.
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate.
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Ensure any equipment provided by the customer and Securitas is managed in accordance with procedures detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
• Deal with lost property in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.

Health and Safety

• To provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times. Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices to supervisor/manager. Report and record all accidents in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
• Ensure all walkways and emergency escape routes are always kept clear.
