Job summary

Kellaway Building Supplies is seeking a Branch Supervisor to lead daily branch operations, drive sales targets, and maintain excellent customer relations. You will oversee staff, support stock and transport coordination, and ensure safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Support the achievement of branch sales, profit and performance targets.
• Assist in day-to-day supervision of the branch and drive best practice standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Manage and develop customer accounts.
• Provide counter and telephone sales support.
• Process payments, operate tills and complete reconciliations.
• Support stock control and inventory management.
• Supervise and motivate branch colleagues.
• Promote and maintain high standards of Health & Safety compliance.
• Support the planning and coordination of branch transport operations.

Job description

As Branch Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the successful operation and performance of the branch. Working closely with the Branch Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the achievement of branch sales, profit and performance targets
• Assisting in the day-to-day supervision of the branch and driving best practice standards
• Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Managing and developing customer accounts
• Providing counter and telephone sales support
• Processing payments, operating tills and completing reconciliations
• Supporting stock control and inventory management
• Supervising and motivating branch colleagues
• Promoting and maintaining high standards of Health & Safety compliance
• Supporting the efficient planning and coordination of branch transport operations
