Job Description:

Join us at The Entertainer Head Office in Amersham, where you can experience a vibrant and creative work environment in our character-themed meeting rooms!

This role is based in our busy Branch Merchandising team within the Trading function. As an entry-level team member, you will support an Assistant Branch Merchandiser (ABM) in optimizing stock levels across various channels and stores. Your responsibilities will include reviewing sales and stock forecasts and assisting with stock balancing activities.

We are looking for a team player who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, and quick to learn. Confidence in analyzing data and numbers is essential. Experience in stock or retail administration is advantageous. You should enjoy a dynamic trade environment and excel at building strong relationships to provide excellent service to our channels.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Responsibilities

  1. Prepare and maintain accurate reports weekly to ensure data integrity.
  2. Support ABM in managing stock flow to maintain optimal availability and identify issues and opportunities.
  3. Assist in store performance analysis to ensure proper stock levels.
  4. Help monitor key products and out-of-stock lines, collaborating with Merchandising & Buying teams.
  5. Liaise with Logistics Planning to coordinate inbound/outbound stock flow for a diverse product mix.
  6. Support communication of promotional activities and pricing changes to the team to aid sales forecasting.
  7. Assist the team in responding to Area and Store Manager queries to ensure stores are well-supported.
  8. Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting tasks as required by your line manager.

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent administrative skills with great attention to detail.
  • Commercially aware with a positive, helpful attitude.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Accurate and detail-oriented in data manipulation and analysis.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
