Position: Branch Manager - Tools & Plant

Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Sector: Tool & Plant Hire

Salary: £34,000 - £37,000 + Performance Bonuses

Contract: Full-time, Permanent (Monday to Friday, plus alternate Saturday mornings)

Are you a sales-driven professional with a passion for tool hire? We're seeking a dynamic Manager to lead a 2-person tool & plant hire operation within a busy builders' merchants based in Barnsley.

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales-oriented individual to drive growth and enhance customer relationships within a well-established business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate internal staff members
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue
  • Manage sales strategy with potential and existing customers
  • Engage in customer relationship management
  • Conduct site visits as required to strengthen client partnerships
  • Oversee daily branch operations

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the tool hire or construction industry
