Job summary

Booker Group plc is seeking a Store Manager for its wholesale operation in Kettering. The role focuses on leading a store team, ensuring safe and compliant operations, and delivering excellent customer service while managing day-to-day activities.

You will report to the Area Manager and be responsible for driving performance, staff development, and strong store standards across a busy branch in Northamptonshire.

About the role

Looking for a career in Wholesale Store Management? We are currently looking for self starters who have a sound operational understanding of managing a store,are comfortable to make decisions whilst maintaining a compliant and safe operation.

You will be responsible for

Reporting to the Area Manager, your role will be responsible for leading a team to ensure that your branch is trading efficiently, safely, within legal constraints and offers the highest customer service standards.You will be dedicated to keeping customers happy, take pride in your work, have a proven record of managing a team to success, have an enthusiastic attitude and a driving ambition to be the best at whatever you do.

From day one you can expect to be trusted with real responsibility, working within a team of people that will give you the support to give our customers what they need, when they need it.

You will need

To be successful in this position youwill needretail/wholesale experience, not necessarily from a food background. You will be familiar with operational procedures, able to demonstrate successand not be afraid to get stuck in.
