Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Customer Representative for the Sutton Coldfield branch. The role covers in-branch, phone, and online support, handling transactions and queries while guiding customers to suitable banking services. You’ll work with colleagues to deliver high-quality service in a busy branch environment.

The position is permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Saturday, with a 45-minute commute requirement and comprehensive training to set you up for success.

Qualifications

• Experience or passion for working in a customer service environment is helpful.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs, offering trusted, friendly help with banking.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately, while prioritising customer security and fairness.
• Guide customers through banking products and services that suit their needs and help them manage their money.
• Collaborate with colleagues in a busy branch to deliver excellent customer service at peak times.
• Follow processes, spot issues, and escalate concerns to protect customers and Nationwide.
