Rexel UK are looking for a Branch Assistant to join our Swindon Branch, working Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.

As a Branch Assistant, you will be supporting across the team with carrying out Customer support, Warehouse duties and serving customers on the Trade Counter, taking phone calls about stock availability, Quotes or Orders, to picking & packing customer orders ready for collection or delivery.

Ideally, you will have experience within an electrical wholesale / trade environment, with the ability to support in sales activities whilst ensuring a great service is provided for every single customer.

What we are looking for you be a Branch Assistant:

  • Customer Service: Experience working in a customer facing role, building strong customer relationships and able to demonstrate great service provided for repeat business.
  • Sales Support: Supporting the sales team by ensuring product availability and assisting with customer inquiries.
  • Communication: The ability to ask questions and provide information effectively across different stakeholders e.g. Colleagues, customers & Suppliers.
  • Stock Management: Experience from a Retail/ Trade or Wholesale stock environment, with proven ability to pick & pack orders or to book in and organise goods in to store/branch. Assisting in the management of branch stock, including daily profiling requests and monthly stock adjustments.
