Job summary

LKQ Euro Car Parts is seeking a Branch Assistant in the United Kingdom to help keep the branch moving. The role combines customer deliveries, warehouse tasks and branch support to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

You will be involved in deliveries, stock handling, and assisting customers at the trade counter, contributing to smooth branch operations and a safety-first culture across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a delivery driving, warehouse, logistics or branch support role.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of safe working practices and Health & Safety.
• Basic IT skills and confidence using handheld devices or warehouse systems.
• Flexible, reliable and team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a safety first culture with the customer at heart of everything.
• Work to deliver a balanced performance across key business metrics and KPI measures.
• Ensure the branch is operationally efficient, with proper controls to support customer experience.
• Work as a member of the Fleet team with a customer first attitude.
• Ensure colleagues are focused to deliver a safety first culture at all times.
• Improve returns, credits and warranty processes to enhance customer experience and create frictionless processes at the retail counter.
• Support the retail counter to maintain best-in-class branch standards for customer experience.
• Deliver customer first service by managing pick to manifest times and SLA compliance.
• Support the branch with deliveries when required to enable growth through service excellence.
• Ensure best-in-class service is delivered at all times to cement customer excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering a safety first culture with the customer at heart of everything.
• Working to deliver a balanced performance across key business metrics and KPI measures in line with business goals and objectives.
• Ensuring the branch is operationally efficient, and correct controls and measures are in place to support a customer first experience
• Working as a member of the Fleet team with a customer first attitude
• Ensuring colleagues are focused to deliver a safety first culture at all times
• Improving returns, credits and warranty processes enhancing customer experience and creating frictionless processes when supporting the retail counter.
• Supporting the retail counter to ensure branch retail standards are best in class to establish customer experience excellence.
• Delivering a customer first service through the management of pick to manifest times and achieving all service level agreements.
• Supporting the branch with deliveries when required, ensuring it is set up for growth through best in class customer service and exceptional service level agreements SLAs.
• Ensuring a best in class service is delivered at all times to cement customer excellence.

Skills and Experience

We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, great work ethic and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a delivery driving, warehouse, logistics or branch support role.

• A full, clean UK driving licence.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• The ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast‑paced environment.

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

• An understanding of safe working practices and Health & Safety.

• Basic IT skills and confidence using handheld devices or warehouse systems.

• A flexible, reliable and team‑focused approach.

Experience within the automotive, retail or logistics sector would be an advantage, as would knowledge of stock control, warehouse operations, vehicle compliance or ePOD technology—but these aren't essential, as full training will be provided.
