Job summary

LKQ Euro Car Parts is hiring a Branch Assistant in Sheffield. The role blends customer service, delivery driving, and hands-on warehouse tasks to keep our branch running smoothly and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

You’ll support the trade counter and contribute to a safe, efficient operation in a busy retail environment. We’re seeking someone with prior delivery/warehouse experience, a full UK driving licence, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivery driving, warehouse, logistics or branch support is preferred.
• Full, clean UK driving licence is required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of safe working practices and Health & Safety.
• Basic IT skills and confidence using handheld devices or warehouse systems.
• Flexible, reliable and team-focused approach.
• Experience in automotive, retail or logistics is advantageous but training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer service at the branch and support deliveries as needed.
• Assist with warehouse operations to keep stock accurate and accessible.
• Support the trade counter and branch customers with a friendly, professional approach.
• Help ensure branch adheres to SLAs and safety standards.
• Contribute to the Fleet team and maintain a positive, customer-first culture.

We're looking for a Branch Assistant to join our busy branch, where no two days are the same. This is a varied, hands‑on role combining customer deliveries, warehouse operations and branch support to help us provide an exceptional experience for our customers. Whether you're out making deliveries, supporting warehouse operations or helping customers at the trade counter, you'll play a vital role in keeping the branch running smoothly and ensuring we deliver on our customer promise.,

• Responsible for delivering a safety first culture with the customer at heart of everything.
• Working to deliver a balanced performance across key business metrics and KPI measures in line with business goals and objectives.
• Ensuring the branch is operationally efficient, and correct controls and measures are in place to support a customer first experience
• Working as a member of the Fleet team with a customer first attitude
• Ensuring colleagues are focused to deliver a safety first culture at all times
• Improving returns, credits and warranty processes enhancing customer experience and creating frictionless processes when supporting the retail counter.
• Supporting the retail counter to ensure branch retail standards are best in class to establish customer experience excellence.
• Delivering a customer first service through the management of pick to manifest times and achieving all service level agreements.
• Supporting the branch with deliveries when required, ensuring it is set up for growth through best in class customer service and exceptional service level agreements SLAs .
• Ensuring a best in class service is delivered at all times to cement customer excellence.
  We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, great work ethic and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a delivery driving, warehouse, logistics or branch support role.
• A full, clean UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• An understanding of safe working practices and Health & Safety.
• Basic IT skills and confidence using handheld devices or warehouse systems.
• A flexible, reliable and team‑focused approach.
• Experience within the automotive, retail or logistics sector would be an advantage, as would knowledge of stock control, warehouse operations, vehicle compliance or ePOD technology-but these aren't essential, as full training will be provided.
