The client:

  • A highly independent young man who is always striving to become more independent and self-sufficient.
  • A positive personality who can enjoy both serious conversations and a good laugh.
  • Very ambitious and would like support with working towards his life goals.
  • Enjoys all things music and plays the guitar and keyboard. Has a background in sound engineering.
  • Able to walk with support of a tripod, uses a wheelchair for longer distances.

The applicant:

  • You can cover a mixture of shifts from Monday to Sunday.
  • Sunday: 9am-5pm
  • Able and willing to work on alternate weekends.
  • Clean Driving Licence is essential due to the nature of support.
  • Confident driver willing to learn how to drive the client's automatic vehicle.
  • Confident working within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • A good team player.
  • Strong motivator able to support a highly independent adult.

Qualifications

No specific experience or qualifications are required, but experience in a support or PA role working with complex adults is advantageous.
