We have an excellent opportunity for a female support worker to work alongside our client in Gloucester, Gloucestershire.
Our client is a young man approaching his teens who has complex needs, including epilepsy, peg feeding and communication (non-verbal).
Due to the client's support needs, the successful candidate will need to be female, have some experience working with complex needs including brain injury or cerebral palsy, have a full UK driving licence, and possess the softer skills of being a clear communicator with the motivation and ability to engage the client to build a solid, supportive relationship.
Pay: £17.50 per hour
Hours: initially 10 per week over five days, moving to 40 (Monday - Friday 07:30 - 09:30 and adding 13:00 - 19:00 once client, family and support worker are comfortable)
