We have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Male Support Worker to join our team in Magor/Undy. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support an individual with complex health needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Working Hours:

School holidays: Tuesday and Thursday 09:00 – 18:00
Term time: Thursday 15.00 - 22.00

Additional Days and Waking Nights may be available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering personalised care and support to clients with complex health conditions.
  • Assisting with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
  • Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work the specified hours.
  • Valid UK driver's license
