Job Role: Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant

The Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will assist the team with daily routines, including personal care and feeding.

Applicants must have at least 6 months of care experience and demonstrate compassion.

Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers will support patients in homes, hospitals, or their own residences.

• Turning bedridden patients to prevent pressure sores
• Talking to patients to reduce anxiety
• Assisting patients with mobility
• Managing bedpans and assisting with toileting
• Maintaining cleanliness of wards or homes
• Organizing supplies and equipment

Your daily tasks might involve using mobility aids and escorting patients within facilities. With experience, you may participate in training new healthcare assistants.
