Job Title: Box Office Supervisor

Job Overview:
London Borough of Harrow is looking for an experienced and customer-focused Box Office Supervisor to lead our ticketing operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. In this role, you will oversee the box office team, manage ticket sales, and coordinate seating arrangements while maintaining efficiency and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the daily operations of the box office, ensuring smooth and efficient ticket sales
  • Train, support, and manage box office staff, ensuring high levels of customer service
  • Handle inquiries, customer complaints, and ticketing issues professionally
  • Manage financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting for ticket sales
  • Coordinate seating plans, special requests, and VIP ticketing
  • Work closely with event organizers, marketing teams, and venue management
  • Ensure compliance with ticketing policies, security measures, and company regulations
  • Assist with promotional activities related to ticket sales and audience engagement
  • Maintain and update the ticketing system, troubleshooting any technical issues
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in box office operations or a related customer service role
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in ticketing software and payment processing systems
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of event management and audience engagement strategies (a plus!)
