Job summary

Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust is seeking a full-time Specialist Screening Practitioner to support the bowel cancer screening programme. You will guide patients through the screening pathway, work autonomously, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team across multiple sites.

Applicants must be a registered general nurse with relevant knowledge and experience; specific training will be provided, including mandatory university attendance for the SSP module at level 6/7.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with appropriate knowledge and experience.
• Specific training provided for the Specialist Screening Practitioner role.
• Ability to work autonomously within the bowel screening pathway.
