We are a boutique, local accountancy business seeking an organised and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our growing team. This role can be full time or part time for the right candidate.

You will bring bookkeeping experience, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and enjoy working with clients at all levels. Payroll experience and familiarity with accounting software are desirable but not essential; strong communication and organisation are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous bookkeeping experience, preferably within an accountancy practice.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with accounting software is desired but not essential.
• Experience with payroll administration is desired but not essential.
• Excellent communication and client service skills and able to deal with people at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
